As well as fixing computers, we’ve been helping design electronic circuits with Professor Cunningham at the University of Sheffield. Recently we’ve come up with the UnPhone:
The device has an ESP32 microcontroller, a LoRaWAN radio, camera, touchscreen, microphone and synth chip, accelerometer, buzzer and IR led’s. It’s designed to both help students learn about microcontrollers and to track food flows – maybe on allotments or maybe tracking food wasted at supermarkets.
Our logo will be hidden inside the box most of the time – but we’re proud to have had a hand in it and that it was made in Sheffield by our good friends at Pimoroni.
